From the directing concept:
"The staging puts the character of Bedanec in the center of the action. At first glance, it is a negative character who bullies the villagers and their children with his image and his actions. Bedanec does not respect nature and people, he appears exploitative, unfriendly and even violent. In the performance, however, we reveal a hidden dimension of his personality that can explain and even understand his inhumanity. In reality, he is a lonely and scared man who wants to be loved and accepted. Bedanec comes to the village because he wants human proximity and longs for the home he never had."
