“Tazio or Tony? Two different worlds, between which Caterina is trapped. Stability and the illusion of happiness on the one hand, and freedom and emotions on the other. Fear and love. The audience enters both worlds and regardless of Caterina's decision, in the end, only ashes remain. Ashes as a metaphor for a life 'lived'... ”
