From the directing concept:
"I believe that the theater hides the power of transformation within itself. Every story we put on stage touches the audience, and at the end of the performance, they are no longer the same as when they entered the hall. I want the story of the Chinese prince Sou-Chong to touch the hearts of the viewers. Sou-Chong remains his own prisoner and eventually collapses under the weight of rules and laws. The space that surrounds him resembles a golden cage in which the prince, like a trapped bird, sings about freedom.”
